The Lakeside School Parent-Teacher Association is an active organization designed to provide support, guidance and information to Lakeside School parents. The association holds monthly meetings at which parents have the opportunity to meet with staff and review their child's program. Theses meetings often include guest speakers from The Division of Developmental Disabilities (DDD), The Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Services (DVRS), and The New Jersey Department of Labor. Representatives from theses agencies make presentations designed to provide both parents and students with the valuable information necessary to successfully plan for life after high school. Parents are strongly encouraged to actively participate in their child's school program through regular participation in the PTA.
